Have you been recently diagnosed with a disease or illness or have you felt that there is something off in your body but you're not sure where to start to find out what is causing the imbalances? Are you questioning the "normal" procedures that people have been using without the best results? Below you will find a range of alternative procedures and therapies to help you get to the root cause of the problem. They'll support and empower you to improve your health and be the best, healthiest version of you that you can be.

  • APPLIED KINESIOLOGY - Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system that evaluates structural, chemical, and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods of diagnosis. Muscle testing is a non-invasive, functional neurological assessment. An AK doctor can evaluate the muscles of the body and gain some understanding of a patient's overall health both functionally and neurologically.

The triad of health lists the three basic causes of health problems. They are structural, chemical, and mental, with structure a the base of the triad. AK enables the doctor to evaluate the triad's functional balance and direct therapy toward the imbalanced side or sides.

Treatments may involve specific chiropractic adjustments, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian and acupuncture skills, clinical nutrition, dietary management, evaluating environmental irritants and various reflex procedures.

  • COLD LASER THERAPY - Cold laser therapy is a painless, non-invasive and safe alternative to surgery for many conditions. The therapy has been scientifically proven to treat muscle pain, arthritis, athletic injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, decreases local swelling, increases circulation and lymphatic flow, and helps accelerate the healing process. Consultation with our doctors will inform if you are an acceptable candidate for this therapy.

  • SPINAL DECOMPRESSION THERAPY - Each day, all of us lose approximately 20% of the fluid that fills our discs, through two sets of forces: gravity and muscular activity compressing the spine (i.e. sitting at desks for long periods of time). This means we all go to bed each night approximately 2 centimeters shorter - all because of disc dehydration!

Spinal decompression therapy is a non-invasive, computerized form of traction. This treatment is effective for both neck pain and low back pain caused by certain conditions. The machines or the tables can also bend and move in certain ways to address the injured area more specifically. Spinal Decompression is used for various conditions and can effectively relieve pain associated with disc herniation, degenerative discs, and posterior facet syndromes by reducing the pressure on spinal discs and facet joints through unloading created by distraction and positioning. The computerized traction also known as pulls are subtle and monitored by built in sensors at real time.

Spinal decompression has been shown to help with conditions like:

          - Disc Bulge or Protrusion – condition in which the outer layers of discs put pressure on the spinal nerves.

          - Disc Herniation – condition in which inner part of the discs pierce through the outer layers and cause inflammation and pressure on the
spinal nerves.

          - Sciatica – refers to pain going down the leg due to pressure on spinal nerves.

          - Stenosis – refers to pain usually down both legs or arms due to pressure on spinal cord.

          - Disc Degeneration with osteophytes – deterioration of disc and resulting in loss of disc height.

          - Facet Syndrome – condition in which the small joints of back of spinal bones are affected.

  • ALCAT TEST -  may help uncover which foods and other substances trigger chronic inflammation and its related health issues such as gastrointestinal, metabolic disorders and others.

  • THERMOGRAPHY SCAN - Thermography is an FDA approved non-invasive screening procedure which uses a specialized camera to take pictures of your infrared image from any part of the body for detecting and monitoring a number of disease and physical injuries, by showing the thermal abnormalities present in the body.

          - Painless and no contact with the body.

          - It is a valuable tool used by a health care practitioner to evaluate the health of the body.

          - It offers the opportunity of earlier detection of breast disease than has been possible through self exam, doctor exam or mammography

         - This screening detects and monitors numerous conditions, diseases and physical injuries including:

-Unexplained pain          -Artery Inflammation          -Breast Disease Disc Disease          -Fibromyalgia
-Disc Disease                  -Sprain/Strain                    -Referred Pain Syndrome                -RSD
-Stroke Screening           -Digestive Disorders            -Whiplash                                       -Dental and TMJ
-Inflammatory Pain         -Referred Pain Syndrome    -Nerve damage                              -Vascular Disease
            -Skin Cancer                  -Arthritis                              -Back Injuries

  • NAET TREATMENT - NAET® was discovered by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad in November of 1983. Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques, also known as NAET, are non-invasive, drug free, natural solution to alleviate allergies of all types and intensities using a blend of selective energy balancing, testing and treatment procedures from acupuncture/acupressure, allopathy, chiropractic, nutritional, and kinesiological disciplines of medicine.

One allergen is treated at a time. If you are not severely immune deficient, you may need just one treatment to desensitize one allergen. A person with mild to moderate amount of allergies may take about 15-20 office visits to desensitize 15-20 food and environmental allergens.

Basic essential nutrients are treated during the first few visits. Chemicals, environmental allergens, vaccinations, immunizations, etc. are treated after completing about ten basic essential nutrients. NAET can successfully alleviate adverse reactions to egg, milk, peanuts, penicillin, aspirin, mushrooms, shellfish, latex, grass, ragweed, flowers, perfume, animal dander, animal epithelial, make-up, chemicals, cigarette smoke, pathogens, heat, cold, other environmental agents. It may take several office visits to desensitize a severe allergen.

NAET is available all over the world. Over 12,000 licensed practitioners have been trained in NAET procedures and are practicing all over the world. To help you find a NAET specialist, the names of the trained practitioners have been listed on under the Find a Practitioner section.

  • MTHFR GENE MUTATION TEST - MTHFR is a gene that provides the body with instructions for making a certain enzyme called methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR). When you eat foods that contain folic acid, MTHFR converts it into methyl-folate (folate’s active form).

Methyl-folate is critical to methylation, which helps to optimize a huge number of processes in your body including the production of DNA, metabolism of hormones, and proper detoxification.

There can be one mutation (heterozygous) or two mutations (homozygous), which are passed down from parent to child. The more variations you have, the more issues your body will have with methylating.

An MTHFR gene mutation may change the way you metabolize and convert nutrients from your diet into active vitamins, minerals, and proteins your body can use. This genetic mutation may also affect hormone and neurotransmitter levels, brain function, digestion, cholesterol levels, and more.

  • CRANIAL SACRAL THERAPY - CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics.

Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams - about the weight of a nickel - practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it's effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

     - This screening detects and monitors numerous conditions, diseases and physical injuries including:

-Concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury         -Migraines and Headaches         -Chronic Neck and Back Pain
